Hello friends!
I am really excited about the series that we are sharing with you in this blog. Our travel in history is really exciting! It meets us with great entrepreneurs of all time, as well as with other wealthy people. And as you might guess from the title of the post and the photo to the right our guest of the day is more royalty than entrepreneur. His name is Nicholas II and he was the last king of Russia before communism took over. Now let's look at the numbers - he was valued a little over $290 billion at his death when he was 50 and perhaps would have grown even richer had the communists not killed him. Now, he was rich, but apparently he was not a successful leader and didn't much good for his country. More about his biography you could read here.
And here is something the czar said, that reflects the spirit of his time:
There is no justice among men.
Now, let's not analyze this statement and take it for what it is - the opinion of a wealthy man, but one who didn't make his money as an entrepreneur. But still, he is the third wealthiest man of all time and therefore deserves to be studied closer. And you could transport yourself to 100 years ago and the lifestyle of Czar Nicholas by watching this video:
Have a great day!
