What an excellent day today is! It is the second to last day of the year and it is a great day to find out about another great and wealthy member of our list. In fact, today we have another family as our guest - the Rothschild family.
The Rothschild family - what does this say to you? The Rothschilds were a family of Jewish descent, who became particularly influential and affluent during the 19th century. Unfortunately, once again we have no exact estimate of their fortunes. Fortunately, however, we have an approximate estimate, which tells us that if their riches were not in the trillions of US dollars, then they were definitely in the upper end of hundreds of billions.
