And as I've gotten older, I've had more of a tendency to look for people who live by kindness, tolerance, compassion, a gentler way of looking at things.
And the author is quite unexpected - his name is Martin Scorsese, who is a great Hollywood movie director. You must have seen his movies, but anyways, why don't you look at his biography once again here.
And now, back to the quotation of the day. The same words come from people, who become older and people who experience Near-Death-Experiences. They all figure out that the most important thing in life is not to compete with everybody, but rather it is to cooperate with everybody in harmony. Or as Scorsese puts it, a gentler way of looking at things. What a concept!
