Today, September 1, we mark the start of the new liturgical year of the Eastern Orthodox Church

Hello friends!

Today we start of a new month! Isn't it exciting? Yes, it is the end of summer and the weather is getting colder, but it is also the start of another season - the exciting fall!

So, today we commemorate the start of the new liturgical year of the Eastern Orthodox Church. That might not mean much to you, but it matters to me, as I live in a Eastern Orthodox country. From early morning the church bells have been ringing and I was wondering what was the reason. After doing some research, now I know! Well, I guess it is nice! It is all good and I love religion and tradition, as long as they don't try to control free thought.

Have a great day, week, and month!
