Today is a special day!
Well, any day is special.
On this date in 1492, however, Christopher Columbus and his ships sailed off to the New World. They then went on to discover the Americas and thus start a new era in the history of mankind. Therefore, this day is worth nothing.
I am now going to go on and watch the historical movie "1492: Conquest of Paradise." Before going, however, I would like to share with you my favorite Columbus quote:
"By prevailing over all obstacles and distractions, one may unfailingly arrive at his chosen goal or destination."
