Today is a beautiful Sunday day, and I can feel the coming spring. Can you feel it? There is a great energy in spring - an energy, which makes everything better in a way.
So, today we have a special birthday man. His name is Albert Einstein. You must have heard about him as one of the greatest scientists of all time, although you might not have seen this picture of his, which was taken at a rather young age. His scientific achievements are great, and he was definitely a genius. However, did you know that he did not speak until the age of 4? Interesting. Also, he was an academic genius and everything, but he was quite opposed to the academic system, which included too much dogma and not enough pursuit of one's free interests.
Well, today I would like to look at a quotation by Albert Einstein, which discusses curiosity:
The important thing is not to stop questioning; curiosity has its own reason for existing.
Do you know that some scientists in the early 20th century claimed that humanity has nothing more to discover or invent? They apparently lacked curiosity and were not friends with Einstein. The wise man knows that there are unlimited things to be discovered and constantly questions the present state of things. Looked at in another way, curiosity prepares us for changes, which will definitely come, so be had better be prepared for them.
