Dear friends!
Today is one more time the end of the working week! Exciting, isn't it? We are excited for the start of the weekend and we have a great attitude. Well, if nothing else, this week we have learned that we should have a great attitude every day. And we are learning how to do that here. I am planning to continue this series on attitude quotes and discussions until someone tells me: Enough, we got it! We have a perfect attitude now! Just kidding of course. We wil never stop!
So, today our guest is Kahlil Gibran, who was a great writer and philosopher of Lebanese descent. He immigrated to the United States at an young age, but let's not get into more details regarding his past and let's look at his message:
Your living is determined not so much by what life brings to you as by the attitude you bring to life; not so much by what happens to you as by the way your mind looks at what happens.
Again, same old story, but it is worth to repeat it every day - our life is not so much dictated by what happens to us, but by how we react to it. There is no more I can add to this than the necessity to repeat this message to ourselves every day until it becomes a habit. The first thing I do after getting up every morning is reading a series of quotations on Attitude, which remind me of the importance of attitude. I thus immediately eliminate any negativity from my mind and can start the day with a positive attitude. I recommend you to do the same. Collect the quotations we look at here and look at them every morning for at least a month. Then you will start noticing a shift in your attitude - it might be slow, but it will happen sooner or later.
Have a great weekend!
