So far in this blog we have set many things about attitude. We have said it is everything. We have said it is the most important thing. Now let's borrow the words of one more important person of the past. His name is Sir Walter Scott, and he was a prolific Scottish novelist and poet. Here is what he had to say about attitude:
For success, attitude is equally as important as ability.
Well, we can see that Sir Scott is rather modest. He is saying that attitude is only equally as important as ability. In other places we have heard that it is much more important. But for now let's say that it is just as important. What does this mean? It means that without a good attitude all the ability you have can't really help you. You need a great positive to utilize your ability fully. Or in other words, ability is wasted if you don't have a good attitude.
