Hello friends!
Today we go back to the 18th century to celebrate the birthday of a famous English poet of the time. His name is William Blake and he is famous for his controversial remarks. You could look at all of his famous quotes by clicking on the link at the bottom of the post, and you can read his biography here. But now, let's take a look at the quotation I have selected for discussion today:
A truth that's told with bad intent beats all the lies you can invent.
So, this is not to say that lies are good. Rather, it says that a truth with a bad intent is as bad as and even worse than a lie. In other words, it is all intent that matters. The intent behind our actions - our reason to act and to do whatever we want to do. That's all!
So, the lesson of today is to be careful of the intent in our actions. Let's be good today, as good as you can!
