Hello friends!
How is it going? It is a nice sunny day here and I would like to share this quotation with you:
I have always believed that 98% of a student's progress is due to his own efforts, and 2% to his teacher.
The authors is someone you surely do not know. His name is John Philip Sousa and he was an important American composer from the late 19th century. I am not familiar with his works, but this quotation he said completely resonates with me. Very often we tend to blame our teacher for our failures, but instead of doing that, I would like to suggest that we look for the blame in ourselves. The reason for that is simple - if you learn to blame others when you fail, what would happen when there is no one to blame? Well, simple - you will do anything possible to find someone to blame and end up cheating yourself. Instead of doing that, it will benefit one much more to develop responsibility - that's it.
Well, you can learn more about our guest of the day here.
Have a great last working day of the week!
