How is the mood in the beginning of the new week? It is simply great here!
I am pleased to be writing today, for we are together celebrating the birthday of the famous Brazilian author Paulo Coelho, who was born on this date in 1947. You might have or have not read his works. I myself have read only one of them - The Alchemist. You can familiarize yourselves with his life and works here.
But we don't have to read Coelho's works to be inspired by him. We simply have to take a look at the quotations at the link below. But first, let's see this one, my favorite:
"Be brave. Take risks. Nothing can substitute experience."
Don't you agree with this statement? Many people say that the best thing about humans is that we can learn from others' experience, but that is not always possible. The truth is that people are lazy and emotional. And that is not meant to insult people. We are best, if not only, moved by our own experiences. Period. So shall we venture ahead and get moved today, too?
