Hello dear friends!
This morning I was watching the world news from May Day, and the TV screen was swept by news of mayhem all over the world, created by protesters. People, protesting against the world economic crisis. People, protesting against something that no one can really explain and no one has really seen. What is the crisis and is there really a crisis?
Well, there might be a crisis. A crisis in the WORLD ECONOMY. And here it comes time to make a distinction between the WORLD ECONOMY and YOUR ECONOMY. The former could be likened to the road, on which you drive your car with all the driving conditions, including the other drivers. Your car - its inside and your driving can be likened to YOUR ECONOMY. Regardless of the driving conditions - barring extremities, of course, you always get your car from point A to point B successfully. There might be a traffic jam or there might be perfect road conditions. But you always succeed. And when do you become the best driver? You guessed right - when the road conditions are challenging.
Now, do you see what I am trying to say? The crisis is good for us, because it will make us better drivers. It will make us accept more responsibility for our fate and thus progress more. Because the human mind, after being stretched due to a challenge, remains at that position, ready to be stretched again.
Now it is time to relax for the weekend, but once the time to stretch comes again, do not be shy to do so!
