What do you prefer, freedom or liberty?
There was one person in a Nazi camp, who was being terrorized. He did not have liberty. But he had freedom. Not in his body, but in his head. The men who were terrorizing him, however, were not free. Yes, they had liberty to move, but had no freedom to think. They were dependent for their thoughts on the evil machine that was directing their actions. And he chose to pity them. Because he was free.
I choose to be free today and to control my thoughts and not let circumstances control them. How about you. Will you join me?
