Hello friends!
The time has come to start up the New Year in earnest. Today is the last day of the holiday and tomorrow we will once again have the opportunity to show what we are made of. In our daily endeavors in our respective fields of activity, let us remember the words of the wise teacher from Star Wars Yoda. If you might recall, he said, "Do or do not, there is no try." I believe that he is right and I am sure that you yourselves have had many personal experiences, in which these words have held true. We all know about the experience of the Romans in Britain, when they needed to burn their ships and make escape impossible to motivate themselves to go all out towards victory. For them trying was not an option, as success was a necessity for survival. While we will not die if we failed in our daily challenges, it will definitely increase our chances for success if we went all out and forgot about trying. Saying "I will try" reduces our chances of succeeding by at least half from the very outset. True, I know that we often say "I will try" in recognition of our low chances of success. So let us say that we estimate our chances of success being 50%. So we say, I will try, since success isn't certain. But just by taking upon this attitude we further cut our chances of success by half and make them 25%. So what if we go with a positive attitude of "let's do it!"? I am not saying that this would increase our chances above 50%, but that attitude would definitely be more beneficial in pursuit of success.
Well, in the end it is all a matter of how much you want to achieve your goal. If you really want it, then there is no try.
So let's go for it!
